Road Construction
BT roads, highway segments, and plant access corridors — subgrade preparation through bituminous macadam and final surfacing.
Service Overview
What We Actually Build
We build BT roads, highway segments, internal campus roads, and plant access corridors. The work covers every layer — subgrade preparation, granular sub-base (GSB), water-bound macadam (WBM), bituminous macadam, and surface dressing. We also do concrete roads and WBM-only roads where the specification calls for it.
Our paver lays hot-mix asphalt at controlled thickness. Compaction is done in multiple passes with vibratory rollers — we check density with core samples, not guesswork. Camber, gradient, and drainage are set during grading so water doesn't sit on the finished surface. For most BT roads in this region, that means dealing with black cotton soil in the subgrade, which needs proper stabilization before you put anything on top of it.
Our current benchmark is the ₹9.23 Crore BT road at the NUPPL thermal power site in Ghatampur, Kanpur — 98% complete. That project covers the full plant access corridor: subgrade, base courses, and bituminous surfacing, built to handle heavy vehicle traffic from construction and operations.
Road Types We Build
- National & State Highway segments
- BT (Bituminous Topped) Roads
- Internal campus & colony roads
- Industrial & plant access roads
- Concrete & WBM roads
Why It Matters Who Builds Your Road
A road that fails in two monsoons costs more than doing it right the first time. We own the paver, rollers, and tippers — no waiting for hired equipment. Core samples after every layer, not just a visual check. That's why NUPPL gave us the ₹9.23 Cr access road for their power plant.
Our Fleet
Equipment on Site
Asphalt Paver
Lays hot-mix at controlled thickness and width in a single pass
Bulldozer
Clearing, rough grading, and pushing fill material into position
Dump Trucks
Hauls aggregate, earth, and hot-mix from plant to laying point
Mini Vibro Roller
For edges, shoulders, and tight areas where the big roller can't reach
Our Process
How We Build Roads
Survey & Planning
Topographic survey, soil testing (CBR values for subgrade), and road geometry — alignment, gradient, camber, and drainage fall. This determines the pavement design.
Site Preparation
Clearing, grubbing, and earthwork to form the roadbed. Subgrade compaction to required density — with lime or cement stabilization where the soil is expansive or weak.
Base Course Construction
Granular sub-base (GSB) laid and compacted, then WBM layers — stone aggregate spread, rolled, and bound with screenings and water. Each layer is tested for density before the next goes down.
Bituminous Surfacing
Prime coat on the WBM, tack coat between layers, then hot-mix laid by paver at specified thickness. Temperature is checked at the plant and at laying — if the mix cools too much, it gets rejected.
Compaction & Finishing
Initial breakdown rolling while the mix is hot, then intermediate and final rolling for density. Shoulders are built up, edges trimmed, and road markings applied where specified.
Quality Assurance
Core samples cut to verify thickness and density. Surface evenness checked with a 3-metre straight edge. All test results documented and handed over with the project.
