Our Story
How We Got Here
Jai Shree Construction started in July 2021 out of West Delhi. The founder, Ramesh Chand Tarkar, had spent nearly four decades in civil engineering before setting up his own firm — working on everything from highway projects to factory floors. JSC was built on the back of that experience.
In less than five years, we have gone from a new company to running jobs across four states. Our work ranges from BT road construction for NTPC-NUPPL power plant sites to Trimix flooring in a Ruchi Soya biscuit plant to coal mining support operations in Jharkhand. The projects have gotten bigger — our current NTPC contract is ₹11.5 Crore — but the approach stays the same: show up with the right crew, the right equipment, and get it done right.
Today we run a team of 110+ people and own 33 pieces of heavy equipment. We have completed over 250 projects worth ₹28+ Crore for both government and private sector clients. Not the biggest firm out there, but big enough to handle serious work — and small enough that the owner is still involved in every major project.

Our Mission
Do good work, finish on time, and don't cut corners on materials. That is the whole idea. We bid on projects we know we can handle, we staff them properly, and we hand over work that holds up. No one remembers a flashy pitch — they remember whether the road cracked in two years or lasted twenty.
Our Vision
Grow the firm by earning repeat work. Our best contracts — NTPC, NUPPL — came because we delivered on the previous one. The goal is to keep building that kind of track record: take on larger and more complex projects across North India, invest in better equipment, and develop our team so we can run more sites at once without dropping quality.

Our Core Values
Material Quality
We test aggregates, cement, and bitumen before they go into the mix. Cube tests, slump tests, core samples — if the numbers don't pass, the batch gets rejected. Simple as that.
Straight Talk
If a timeline is tight, we say so upfront. If site conditions change the cost, you hear about it before we submit a revised BOQ — not after. No surprises on the final bill.
Own Equipment
We own our excavators, rollers, pavers, and batching plant. That means we don't wait on rental availability to start work, and we maintain everything ourselves to avoid breakdowns mid-project.
Site Discipline
PPE is mandatory, housekeeping happens daily, and the site engineer files a progress report every evening. We run a clean site because sloppy sites produce sloppy work.

Ramesh Chand Tarkar has been in construction since the mid-1980s. He has spent 39+ years working on sites — not just managing from an office. Roads, RCC structures, industrial floors, earthwork, mining support — he has done the full range.
Before starting JSC, he worked across India on projects of varying scale. That experience is what lets us take on work like the ₹11.5 Crore NTPC coal mining contract or the NUPPL thermal power plant road and civil works — projects where the client expects the contractor to know what they are doing from day one.
He is still directly involved in project planning, BOQ review, and quality checks on every major job. When you work with JSC, you are getting someone with four decades of field knowledge making the calls that matter — not a sales team handing you off to a junior engineer.

July 2021
Company Founded
Jai Shree Construction registered in West Delhi by Ramesh Chand Tarkar after 35+ years in the industry. First projects: civil works and road construction in the Delhi-NCR region.
2023
UDYAM Registration
Received MSME Micro Enterprise registration (UDYAM-DL-09-0014724), opening eligibility for government tenders and public sector contracts.
2024
ESIC & EPF Compliance
Registered for ESIC and EPF as the team grew past 100. All workers covered under statutory benefits — a requirement for government project eligibility and something we would have done regardless.
2026
250+ Projects Milestone
Surpassed 250 completed projects with operations spanning four states. Currently executing the ₹11.5 Cr NTPC Talipalli Coal Mining project in Jharkhand — our largest contract to date.
