How We Build

We have completed 250+ projects across four states. These four represent the range and scale of work we handle — from open-cast mining to food-grade flooring. Each one tells a different story about what construction actually involves.

Case Study 01

NTPC Talipalli Coal Mining

Client: NTPC Limited

Location: Jharkhand

Value: ₹11.5 Crore

The Scope

Overburden removal, haul road construction and maintenance, and site grading at NTPC's Talipalli coal mine. The work covers the full earthmoving cycle — stripping overburden to expose coal seams, building and maintaining haul roads for dumper movement, and grading the site to manage drainage and access.

The Challenge

This is a continuous-operation mine. Excavators and tippers run daily shifts, and any downtime cascades into production delays for NTPC. Haul roads take a beating from loaded dumpers and deteriorate rapidly during monsoon. Every operation has to be coordinated around active mining — blasting schedules, coal evacuation, and equipment movement all share the same site.

Our Approach

We deployed our own fleet — excavators, bulldozers, and tippers — dedicated to this project. Haul roads are maintained on a rolling basis rather than periodic repair, so they never degrade to the point of slowing traffic. During monsoon, site grading focuses on preventing waterlogging that would shut down haul routes. Equipment scheduling is aligned daily with NTPC's mining operations team.

Case Study 02

NUPPL BT Road, Ghatampur

Client: NUPPL (NTPC-UPRRVUNL Joint Venture)

Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Value: ₹9.23 Crore

The Scope

Full BT (bituminous tar) road construction for the NUPPL thermal power plant access route at Ghatampur. The scope covers every layer from subgrade preparation through final bituminous surfacing — subgrade, granular sub-base (GSB), water bound macadam (WBM) base course, prime coat, tack coat, and dense bituminous macadam (DBM) surfacing.

The Challenge

The road needed to carry heavy vehicle traffic from day one of plant commissioning — coal trucks, equipment transporters, and plant service vehicles. The subgrade contained black cotton soil, which swells when wet and shrinks when dry, making it unstable as a foundation for pavement layers. Standard compaction alone would not hold.

Our Approach

We handled the full layer sequence with our own paver finisher. The black cotton soil subgrade was stabilized before proceeding with granular layers. Each layer — GSB, WBM, DBM — was compacted to spec and core samples were taken after every course to verify density and thickness before moving to the next. Prime and tack coats were applied to ensure proper bonding between layers.

Case Study 03

NUPPL Civil Works, Ghatampur

Client: NUPPL (NTPC-UPRRVUNL Joint Venture)

Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Value: ₹3.4 Crore

The Scope

Civil and structural package for the NUPPL thermal power plant — RCC foundations for equipment and structures, structural frameworks, retaining walls, drain channels and storm water management, and ancillary buildings supporting plant operations.

The Challenge

This was a live power project site with multiple contractors working simultaneously. Safety protocols were non-negotiable — NTPC-grade safety standards apply across the site. Coordination was tight: our RCC pours had to be sequenced around other contractors' MEP and structural steel work, and any delay in one package would cascade into others.

Our Approach

All RCC work was executed to IS 456 specifications. Cube tests were done at 7-day and 28-day intervals to verify concrete strength before proceeding with load-bearing activities. Before every pour, we coordinated with MEP contractors to ensure all sleeves and block-outs were placed — avoiding the costly rework of coring through cured concrete. Safety briefings were daily, and the project completed with zero safety incidents.

Case Study 04

Ruchi Soya Biscuit Manufacturing Plant

Client: Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd (Patanjali Group)

Location: Karanpura, Bihar

Value: ₹4.3 Crore

The Scope

Civil construction and Trimix/VDF industrial flooring for a biscuit manufacturing plant. The scope included production floors, warehouse structures, loading bays, and supporting infrastructure — all purpose-built for food manufacturing operations.

The Challenge

A biscuit production floor is not an ordinary industrial slab. It needs to meet food-industry compliance: no dusting (dust contaminates product), easy washdown capability, and dead-flat surfaces for automated production lines. The loading bays, separately, had to withstand constant forklift traffic without cracking or surface degradation.

Our Approach

Production floors were laser-screeded to ensure flatness required for automated lines, then vacuum-dewatered (VDF) to remove excess moisture from the slab before finishing. Dry-shake hardener was applied for a dust-free, abrasion-resistant surface. Floor flatness was verified to FM 25+ specification. The warehouse and loading bay structures were built concurrently, sequenced so floor finishing happened after the roof was up to protect the curing slab.
